FAQ
Short answers to the questions people ask most.
Is BrickPad on mainnet?
Yes. BrickPad runs on Solana mainnet, so launches, trades and fees use real SOL.
Where do I follow BrickPad?
On X: @usebrickpad is the only official account, and news and updates are posted there. See Official links.
What is $BRICK?
BrickPad's own token: the first token on the launchpad, launched by the BrickPad team wallet. Its contract address shows on the $BRICK page by itself the moment it launches. On BrickPad the BRICK ticker is reserved for that wallet. $BRICK is a memecoin with no rights and no promised value; read the disclaimer on its page.
How much does it cost to launch a token?
About 0.03 SOL in rent and network fees, plus your dev buy if you make one, plus about 0.006 SOL when your custom settings need a new config, plus about 0.005 SOL if you lock your dev buy. BrickPad charges no launch fee.
Can I change my token's name, ticker or image later?
No. The metadata is fixed at launch, so check the preview before you deploy.
Why did my buy pay such a high fee?
It landed in the first 30 seconds after launch, when the anti-sniper fee steps down from 99% to 2%. The quote shows the fee before you sign. See Anti-sniper fees.
Can I swap tokens that are not on BrickPad?
Yes. The Swap page trades any Solana token for any other through Jupiter, which finds the best price across Solana's DEXes. BrickPad adds no fee. It runs on mainnet only. See Swapping with Jupiter.
Do I have to make a dev buy?
No, it is optional. If you make one, it is the first buy, it pays the 2% minimum fee and it is capped at 10 SOL. See Dev buy.
Can I lock my dev buy?
Yes. In the dev buy step, pick 1, 7 or 30 days or a custom length. Right after the launch, one more approval locks the tokens on Jupiter Lock until the unlock date: nobody can move them early, not even you. Everyone sees the lock on your token page, and you claim the tokens back there once it opens. See Lock your dev buy.
When does my token graduate?
When 88.58 SOL has been raised on BrickPad Standard (custom configs have their own target). The pool then moves by itself to Meteora DAMM v2, with the liquidity locked. See Bonding curve and graduation.
How much do I earn as a creator?
50% of every trading fee after Meteora's share, in SOL, from the first trade on. Claim it on Rewards. See Fees and rewards.
I launched a token. Where are my fees?
On Rewards, with the wallet you launched from connected. Fees only show up after people trade your token.
What is the CA?
The contract address: the token's mint address. Copy it from the token page header. It is the one sure way to tell a token from a copy with the same ticker.
Does BrickPad hold my tokens or SOL?
No. Your wallet holds them and signs every transaction. BrickPad never asks for your seed phrase.
