Fees and rewards

Where every trading fee goes and how creators claim their half.

Every buy and sell pays a trading fee in SOL: 99% stepping down to 2% in the first 30 seconds after launch, then 2%. The fee collects in the token's pool until it is claimed.

Trading fee split

50 : 50

  • Meteora 20%
  • Creator 40%
  • Platform 40%

Meteora takes 20% first; creator and platform split the rest 50/50.

Where each fee goes

Meteora protocol
20% of the fee, taken first
Token creator
50% of the rest: 40% of the fee
BrickPad platform
50% of the rest: 40% of the fee

Example: a 1 SOL buy at 2% pays 0.02 SOL in fees: 0.004 SOL to Meteora, 0.008 SOL to the creator and 0.008 SOL to the platform.

The split is written into the launch config, so it cannot be changed for a token after launch.

Claim your fees

  1. Open Rewards

Go to Rewards and connect the wallet you launched with.
  2. Check your pools

Every token you created is listed with its unclaimed fees in SOL and dollars, and the totals sit on top.
  3. Claim

Claim takes the fees of one pool. Claim all asks your wallet once and then claims every pool, one transaction each. The SOL lands in your wallet.
  • The token page shows the creator's unclaimed fees too, and the creator wallet can claim them there.
  • The platform wallet sees an extra As platform tab with the platform half of every pool.
  • There is no deadline: unclaimed fees wait in the pool.

After graduation

Fees earned on the curve stay claimable on Rewards after a token graduates. In the Meteora DAMM v2 pool, the locked LP (50% creator, 50% platform) earns pool fees from then on; claiming those from BrickPad is not built yet.

Launching earns from the first trade

Even the anti-sniper fees of the first seconds are trading fees, so the creator earns their share of those too.
