Buying and selling
The trade panel, quotes, slippage and everything on a token page.
Every token page has a trade panel, and so does the Hottest build spotlight on the home page. A trade goes straight to the token's Meteora DBC pool and is signed by your wallet; BrickPad never holds your SOL or tokens.
Place a trade
Pick Buy or Sell
The two tabs at the top of the trade panel.Enter an amount
Buys are in SOL (presets 0.1, 0.5, 1, 5). Sells are in tokens, with presets for 25%, 50%, 75%, MAX of your balance.Check the quote
It shows what you receive, the trading fee in effect and the 2% slippage limit. It updates as you type.Confirm in your wallet
Press Buy or Sell (Connect wallet first if you have not), then approve the transaction in your wallet.
In the first seconds
Slippage
Prices move while your transaction is on its way. BrickPad sets a 2% limit: if the price moves more than that against you before your trade lands, the trade fails instead of filling at a worse price, and you keep your funds (minus the network fee).
Reading a token page
- Header
- ticker, name, status badge, contract address with Copy, and a Solscan link
- Stats
- price, 24h change, market cap, 24h volume, holders and bonding progress
- Price chart
- 1m, 5m, 1h and 1d views, buy and sell markers, a live price dot; hover to read any moment
- Recent moves
- the latest trades, live, each linked to the explorer
- Blueprint
- the token's key figures and its bonding build, ten bricks to the GRAD flag
- Dev buy lock
- the creator's locked tokens, their share of the supply and the unlock date; the creator claims them back here once it opens

The chart, the stats and Recent moves refresh by themselves every few seconds, and right away after your own trade.
On a phone
A bar with the price and Buy and Sell buttons stays at the bottom of the screen until the trade panel scrolls into view.
After graduation
Once a token graduates, it trades in its Meteora DAMM v2 pool instead. Its card shows a Meteora button that opens that pool. See Bonding curve and graduation.
