Safety and risks
What BrickPad does and does not protect you from, and how to stay safe.
Not financial advice
Crypto assets are volatile and a new token can lose all of its value. Nothing on BrickPad or in these docs is financial advice.
Real money on mainnet
BrickPad runs on Solana mainnet. Every launch, trade, lock and claim moves real SOL and real tokens, and the app refuses to build or send a transaction on any other network.
Your keys stay yours
- BrickPad never holds your SOL, your tokens or your keys. Every launch, trade and claim is signed in your wallet.
- Never share your seed phrase. BrickPad will never ask for it, and nobody helping you needs it.
- Read what your wallet shows before you approve. On-chain transactions cannot be reversed.
Official links
- BrickPad speaks through this site, brickpad.fun, and one account: @usebrickpad on X. There is no BrickPad Telegram or Discord.
- An X account with a similar name, or one on another platform, is not BrickPad, whatever its profile picture looks like.
- BrickPad's own token, $BRICK, has one contract address: the one on the $BRICK page, launched by the team wallet 4F7a...ZnZv. Other tokens called $BRICK are not ours.
Anyone can launch
- A token on the board is not an endorsement. Anyone can launch with any name and image.
- Copies happen: check the contract address (CA) on the token page against the one the project shares, not just the ticker.
- Look at the creator address, the holders and the dev buy (the first move in Recent moves) before you buy.
- Check the Dev buy lock panel on the token page: a locked dev buy cannot be sold before its unlock date. An unlocked one can be sold at any time.
What the launch rules protect
- The supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 tokens: no one can mint more, and the metadata cannot be changed.
- There is no seed liquidity to pull: the price comes from the curve.
- At graduation the liquidity is locked forever (50% creator, 50% platform), so nobody can remove it.
- The anti-sniper fee makes buying in the first block expensive for bots.
These rules remove some common rug pulls. They do not make a token safe: holders, including the creator, can still sell, and the price can still fall to zero.
